Vogue’s app is like a fashion treasure chest full of the latest fashion trends, designers, streetwear, and runway looks all at your fingertips.

Recently, I decided to build a new career in fashion and the first thing I thought of was to immerse myself in fashion magazines. Since magazines keep up with the latest news, I found it perfect to stay on trend with what’s happening in the fashion industry.

Choosing from Vogue to Harper’s Bazaar, I chose Vogue. Since both cover the same topics, and runways and cater to a similar audience, I chose Vogue simply due to the low-risk subscription cost.

Because yes, you need a digital subscription to access all things Vogue with the app. So let’s talk about it and more on what’s offered on the app.

Explain Vogue’s Digital Subscription Please

If you didn’t know, you can only access so many articles on Vogue.com a month, before they ask you to subscribe to their digital all-access subscription. And since I’m still new to learning fashion, I thought about it for a few minutes.

After weighing my values, I subscribed. To see all of their content on Vogue.com and the app, you need to choose an option that works best for you. Thankfully, they give you many options, whereas Harper’s Bazaar only gives you one option, which is to pay $15 for the first year for digital and print.

Vogue gives you an option for digital and digital plus print. Since I’m learning, I saw value in the digital-only, simply because I didn’t want to commit to the magazines yet.

Right now, you can choose options to pay monthly and annually just for Vogue, or annually for all access to seven Condé Nast magazines including Vogue, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, WIRED, Architectural Digest, Bon Appétit, and Epicurious.

With the digital subscription, you get unlimited content on Vogue.com and the app. You also get a cute tote bag, which hasn’t come in the mail yet. But I’ll update you when it comes.

What’s So Great About Vogue’s App?

With Vogue’s App, you get instant coverage in fashion, all runways, live streams, trend reports, and more. When opening the app, here’s a screenshot of what you’ll see.

This will more likely change over time, but this is the opening scene when you open Vogue’s app. The model is walking a runway for a few seconds and then you are directed to the home page.

The home page on this app is sick. Instead of trying to find what I’m looking for on the website, the home page organizes everything for me. It shows me the featured articles at the top.

I can participate in casting votes and group chat discussions. The latest articles to read, runway quizzes, the latest in shopping, and any contributor updates I must see.

I mean, if you are looking for one place to stay in the know with fashion on an app, Vogue’s app is the best choice. You can see behind-the-scenes looks for runways, streetwear in New York and other locations, but mainly NY so far, celebrity fashion news, wedding looks, and more.

And I can’t forget beauty topics, such as skincare, makeup, haircare, and more.

Runway Collections

If you want to keep up with the latest runway collections, or if you’ve missed a few from your favorite brands, you can find them here on the Runway page. I’ve only spent a few minutes on this page and so far, the list of brands included is very very long.

The season filter goes all the way back to fall 1988!!! Yes, I said 19 freaking 88! This is a goldmine for me because I wanted to start studying vintage fashion, and here is the best place to see it all in one spot.

You can also filter by type which includes couture, menswear, and ready-to-wear. Lastly, there’s a location filter to see runways in certain locations including LA, Paris, Rome, New York, Tokyo, and many more.

If you are into shopping, the Shopping page is for you. If you follow Vogue’s contributors, you can see and shop what certain editors have on their wish lists including Kendall Jenner, Meg Strachan, Yumi Shin, Julia Sarr-Jamois, and more.

You can also see the latest stories on shopping guides, featured items, and in-app new arrivals. Or you can shop by trends, price points, occasions, styles, and sales.

Search What You’re Looking For in Fashion

Or if you want to search for what you’re looking for specifically, you can do that on the Search page. You can find contributors, brands, designers, current topics, play, vote, and discuss in chats and games.

You can follow contributors, brands, and designers to see what they post on the app and get the latest in fashion trends, news, and collections.

Also, following certain topics will keep you in the loop on what you care about the most including beauty, couture, fashion finds, gift guides, Fashion Weeks, menswear, models, runway trends, sports, and many many more.

The play, vote, and discussion are also very fun. You can play quizzes, vote on certain themes and looks, and discuss your thoughts and respectful opinions on certain topics.

This app is a great way to get deep into fashion and stay in it for as long as you want. If you ever feel indifferent about it, you can cancel your subscription anytime.

I’ll keep you updated on my experience with this app in the future.

Till next time,

Love ya! ❤️
