Lash Legend’s Hairstyle On WWE Crown Jewel

If you are a wrestling fan like me, I KNOW you saw the 2024 WWE Crown Jewel! Female wrestler Lash Legend is a legend in the making in my opinion, and her hairstyles are a legend in it’s own league.

She debuted on her first PLE, Crown Jewel with this stunning natural hair textured hairstyle that’s fluffy, long, and flowy.

Now, don’t ask me if it’s her real hair or a wig, but either way, her Hairstylist was very creative for the criss-cross braid that rests on her forehead.

To me, it’s giving “warrior queen” mohawk, with partial braids on both sides. But the cutest and most unique touch is the two braids crossing on her forehead and connecting at the ears is genius.

How To Recreate This Look?

Section Off Your Hair

If you were to recreate or remix this look, you would need to section off both sides of your head from the temple to the crown/top of your head.

Make sure to section off from the top of your ears and connect it to the crown (top) of your head.

The very top section is reserved for your mohawk, so make sure to not braid this section.

So now you should have 3 sections at the top. You should have one in the middle (your mohawk) SECTION B, two on both sides SECTION A and C, and one big section from the crown to the nape/neck area SECTION D.

Just so we’re both on the same page:

  • SECTION A – Left side
  • SECTION B – Mohawk
  • SECTION C – Right side
  • SECTION D – Big section

Braid The Sides

On SECTIONS A and C, make sure you braid one braid by the ear BRAIDS 1 and one by SECTION B (mohawk) BRAIDS 2, towards the FRONT of the head (your forehead).

The braids in between these two braids on SECTIONS A and C are to be braided towards SECTION D but stop at the end of their sections.

Create The Criss-Cross Braid

Now you have SECTIONS A and C with two braids going towards the front and the rest going towards the back, SECTION D.

To create the criss-cross braid on your forehead, take SECTION A’s BRAIDS 2 (the one right next to the mohawk section) and braid it all the way down until you reach SECTION C’s BRAIDS 1, (the braid right next to the ear).

Connect them by braiding them together until they become one braid, and braid all the way down to your desired length.

Do the same with SECTION C’s BRAIDS 2 (the one next to the mohawk) to SECTION A’s BRAIDS 1 (the one by your ear).

Now you should have the criss-cross braid.

NOTE: If your hair isn’t long enough to create this look, get some braiding hair to give you the length needed.

Remix Your Mohawk

The best part about this style is remixing your mohawk and making it your own. You can do anything you want.

There are so many things you can do with SECTION B. You can curl it, tease it, create a hump (like the 2010 era), make a bang-yang, crimp it, you name it, you create it.

The same with SECTION D, you can do whatever you feel will look great with this partially braided mohawk.
