Who am I?

I am a former Master Cosmetologist and Beauty Content Writer with over a decade of experience in the beauty space. I served as a Professional Hairstylist since 2013 and loved every minute, hour, day, and year of it.

As a beauty professional, I know what it’s like to create, film, and promote your business. It’s busy work. So allow me to take that off your plate by being your beauty content writer.

I am a fun, vibrant writer with a huge personality. I love to give copy a professional voice, but relatable to your audience.

Blog Post Content

If you want to attract free, organic customers to your beauty business, you should invest in blog content. Writing blog posts on your website is a great way to have clients and customers knocking on your virtual door.

I know what it’s like to constantly chase after business. But after I learned digital marketing, I knew there was a better way to do this, other than social media. Blog Posts!

When I write your blog content, I conduct keyword research to find the best search terms to use for your posts. I follow the latest SEO on-page practices and use SEO tools to do so.

Do you need more details? Geez, what a skeptic! Here is how I do it.

Conduct Keyword Research

What are people searching for in your industry these days? When creating fresh blog content, you want to always stay on top of the conversation in your niche to bring value to your audience.

With keyword research, I search high, mid, and low for the best relevant queries for each blog post. I chose middle to low-hanging fruit keywords that have a good amount of traffic that’s relevant and popular, but not too popular.

We have to give your blog post a fighting chance against your competitors. Using SEMRush, Google Keyword Planner, and even dabbling in Reddit and Quora, I find keyword clusters that will fit your blog post.

Follow the Best & Latest On-Page SEO Strategies

I have a systematic procedure when optimizing blog posts.

With keywords in hand, I optimize titles, subheadings, meta descriptions, image alts, input internal links and relevant external links, add engaging images if possible, and make the text readable and scannable.

Use SEO Tools & Data

What’s an SEO Writer if they don’t use SEO Tools? A fool I tell ya! I have a slew of tools I use to write the best blog post possible.

Here are a few I have in my arsenal: SEMRush, Afrefs, Google Search Console, Google Trends, Google Analytics, Bing Webmasters, and many more.

Social Media Copy

You already know that social media is king in the beauty industry. Especially when it comes to hair. Your audience wants to see your work in action. They also want to see how your products work, and if your existing customers either love it or hate it.

That’s nice and all, but it’s not all about the visuals. It’s what the caption says. So what does that caption do? ** It’s a reference, IYKYK.

The caption tells the story of your content. It gives your audience context on what your visuals are conveying to them. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with your audience in real-time. So make it count by creating content that they need and want to know more about with a great caption.

So what makes a great caption?

  • A hook that draws your audience in. Grabs their attention, and intrigues them.
  • Context on what this visual is about
  • A call to action instructing what your audience should do next before they stroll down to the next.

Website Copy

If you don’t have a professional website for your beauty business, you are missing out on owning your digital presence. I already know that many beauty professionals are just hanging out on social media.

That’s fine. However, owning your website can take your business to another level. When I write website copy for beauty brands, I give it personality and fun, energetic words that captivate their audience.

I optimize it with SEO best practices by prioritizing helpful content. When someone visits your website, they want to know who you are, what you do, and how you can help them.
